ROVIO: Angry Birds
Art & UX Lead Angry Birds Classic
Lead the Art and UX and improved the Angry Birds Classic experience through high-impact content updates and ecosystem features. By bridging aesthetic excellence with data-driven UX, I focused on deepening player engagement and LTV.

Product Growth: Directed the Art & UX of major updates such as "Red’s Mighty Feathers" and the "Short Fuse" update. The latter became a major milestone, significantly increasing MAU and player retention.
Revenue Optimization: Architected the UI/UX for new IAPs, including the "Shockwave" power-up, which contributed to a 400% increase in in-game purchases.
Ecosystem & Retention: Implementation of Rovio ID, a cross-device identity system to track progress and achievements, alongside the integration of the Toons video channel to drive cross-media engagement.
Industry Recognition & Awards: During my three-year leading Art & UX, Angry Birds Classic transitioned from a mobile hit to a global cultural phenomenon, earning top honors for design, innovation, and user experience:
D.I.C.E. Awards (Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences):
Winner for Casual Game of the Year
Nominee for Outstanding Innovation in Gaming.
The Webby Awards: Double winner for Best Game for Handheld Devices and the People’s Voice Award.
UK Appy Awards: Swept the major categories, winning both App of the Year and Best Game App.
